ANA Releases Newly Revised Nursing Professional Development: Scope & Standards of Practice:  The American Nurses Association (ANA) and co-publisher National Nursing Staff Development Organization announced this month the release of Nursing Professional Development: Scope and Standards of Practice, the long-awaited update of a key resource.


New Federal Government Healthcare Website Launched:  www.healthcare.gov, is a new online tool to connect consumers with information and resources to help them access quality and affordable coverage.  Features from the website include information consumer rights and benefits listed under the Affordable Care Act, timelines when new programs under the new law will take effect, and an insurance finder tool to help visitors find private and public insurance options.
Free Educational Tools: The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) recently released its June 2010 issue of Needle Tips, for all health professionals who give vaccines. Also available is Vaccinate Adults, an abbreviated version of Needle Tips (with the pediatric content removed) for those who work only with adult patients.
RNs and a Greener Idaho Educational Series - Air Module Now Available!  The second in a series of online educational modules available to members of INA that examines Idaho land, water, air and workplace issues related to a Greener Idaho, including strategies for making where you live and work a greener environment. RNs and a Greener Idaho CAN make a difference!
